SALON POLICY

We value our reputation not only for providing excellence in technical services, but creating an atmosphere of genuine caring and concern for your well-being.  Please don't hesitate to advise your representative if you need any assistance or have any questions. 

HAIR EXTENSION PURCHASES


Our salon is happy to provide you with the best 100% human hair in the hair industry. KNX Salon offers an assortment of hair at reasonable prices for purchase in our online store at: KNXHair.Mayvenn.com. KNX Salon uses only 100% Human Hair and as with all natural products variance may occur. KNX Salon is not responsible for any naturally occurring variances in the human hair product. We also partner with outside vendors to make sure we offer a wide range of hair extension choices. We do not require that you buy your hair from us; however, all hair requirements will be discussed during the consultation.




RESERVATIONS


In order to best serve you, advance reservations and a consultation are required prior to any hair extension, chemical application or group appointments and may require a major credit card to secure appointments. Specialized packages are available for your wedding parties or other specialty events. Consultations are complimentary.




CANCELLATIONS


Strictly Enforced 24-Hour Cancellation Policy Your appointment is very important to KNX Salon. It is reserved especially for you, we understand life happens. Therefore, should a cancellation or date change be necessary, we request a minimum of 24-hours advance notice for any service, as a courtesy to other clients and our staff. Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours will be assessed a cancellation fee. - Less than 24-hours will be charged 50% of the total service cost. - "NO SHOWS" will be charged 100% of the total service cost. All services over $150, require a credit card to be on file. KNX Salon reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who is a "no show" for more than one appointment. -Appointments made within the 24 hour period and need to cancel, should do so within 4 hours prior to appointment or will result in a charge of 50% of the reserved service amount. Confirmation Emails As a courtesy, we will Email and/or Text you to confirm your service appointments 48-72 hours prior to your appointment. However, please understand it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and the cancellation fee. Clients Receive Discounts When Salon Cancels KNX Salon stands by our policies, we feel that it is only fair that we honor the same policies to our clients, if for any reason the salon has to cancel on a client less than 24 hours of the appointment scheduled; we will honor 50% off on your next service. But, if the cancellation is due to situations that are out of our control such as power outages, no water, etc., we would gladly reschedule your appointment. The 50% discount will not apply.




HAIR EXTENSION DEPOSITS


For all extension installation and/or multiple salon service requests, we require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total salon service; including the extension hair purchase (if applicable) at least 72-hours prior to your appointment. The remaining 50% balance will become due at the time of your installation appointment. If you choose to provide your own hair, the non-refundable deposit required will be 50% of the installation cost only. And the remaining balance due at the time of your installation appointment. We allow a 'One-Time Rescheduling Courtesy', if you're unable to make the scheduled installation appointment, you will NOT forfeit your deposit. Provided you notify KNX SALON within at least 24-hours of the set appointment and if the appointment is rescheduled and held within 15 days from the date of the original appointment. No other courtesies will be allowed for cancellations or no-shows. Otherwise, your deposit will be forfeited. Only cash will be accepted for the non-refundable deposit payment. If you change the color or texture of your natual hair between the consulation and the application appointment, you agree to notifiy KNX SALON prior to the appointment, in order to schedule a new consultation. A new deposit may be required.




TIMELY / LATE ARRIVALS


At KNX Salon, we want your salon experience to be as enjoyable as possible. In order to expedite your service, we ask that our clients arrive on time. We will do our best to ensure that your appointment begins on time and is completed in a timely fashion. However, if we are running behind schedule, we will call you in order to prevent you from having to wait. As a courtesy, you are given a 15-min grace period after the time of your scheduled appointment. We cannot ensure service for clients who arrive late after the grace period to their appointment and may be asked to reschedule your appointment and will be assessed a $30 late fee.




PETS


KNX Salon is a pet-free salon, due to our lease agreement and California State Board of Barbering & Cosmetology Regulations. *State Certified Guide Dogs with Proper Identification are allowed to accompany any client.




CHILDREN


For their own safety and the comfort of other clients, we ask that children under 12 not accompany you on your visit unless they are being serviced. Parents or legal guardian must be present at all times while child is being serviced. Please make all necessary child care arrangements prior to your visit. Your support and understanding of our policy regarding child safety is greatly appreciated.




ONLINE BOOKING


When booking your appointment online, please keep in mind this is an appointment request and not an appointment confirmation. Please allow up to 3 hours for your appointment request to be confirmed via an email or by phone. You may book your appointment at least 1 month in advance. Online bookings cannot be made by persons under 18 years of age.




PAYMENT


We gladly accept (Cash, Zelle, Debit, Visa, Mastercard, Discover) for all other salon services. No personal checks will be accepted.




PRICING


KNX Salon reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or raise prices on certain services and/or treatment without prior notification to ensure that maximum standards of service and quality are met. All services are priced separately and any shampoo, perm, cut, style will be added to the base price of your selected service. Prices are determined upon the length, density, style & time. Longer hair is priced slightly higher.




SERVICE RETURNS


There are NO refunds for products or services purchased at KNX Salon.




SERVICE GUARANTEE


We strive to provide world-class service to our customers and to ensure you are satisfied with those services. Therefore, if for any reasons you are not, please let us know before leaving the salon and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Should any issues arise after leaving the salon, you must come back within 48 hours, with hair in the same condition in which it was installed by our stylists, to have hair examined and/or possible correction. We do not offer refunds for services rendered. KNX SALON service guarantee applies to all services we offer, we are not responsible for any damage or hair loss due to a salon service including weave or extension service being removed outside of our salon. We recommend you have these services done by our stylists.
